Ground Floor, Behind the Tire Place
Suite B faces the back of the lot rather than Kietzke Lane, which is why people drive past it. Look for the roll-up door and the two parking spaces with the orange cones.
Phone is answered during studio hours by someone standing in the room. Email is answered the same day Monday to Friday and by Sunday evening otherwise.
Kietzke Lane, South of the Convention Centre
Coming from the north
Take I-580 south to the Moana Lane exit, turn east, then right onto Kietzke. We are on the left after the second set of lights. The building is a single-storey commercial row set back from the road; the tire shop occupies the front unit and we are the door behind it.
Coming from Carson City or Minden
I-580 north, exit at Moana Lane, then the same right onto Kietzke. It is about forty minutes from Minden outside of commute hours and closer to an hour if you leave Carson after four.
Coming down from the lake
Mount Rose Highway to South Virginia, then east on Moana. Allow extra time between November and April — the highway gets chains-required weather several times a winter and we would rather move your appointment than have you drive it.
Parking and the door
Two marked spaces directly outside Suite B, plus the shared lot at the back of the row. Use the shared lot if the coned spaces are taken, they are held for golfers carrying a full bag. The entrance is the glass door beside the roll-up, and it is unlocked whenever the hours say we are open.
If you are carrying the whole bag
Pull into one of the two spaces and leave the boot open. Somebody will come out. There is no need to wrestle fourteen clubs through a doorway on your own and no need to phone ahead about it.
Dropping something off: bench work does not need an appointment. Bring it during studio hours, we will measure it at the counter and tell you the price and the turnaround before anything is touched.
Send a Message Instead
Use this for questions rather than bookings — there is a separate booking form that asks the things we need in order to hold a slot. Anything sent here reaches all four of us.
Where Golfers Drive In From
Roughly in order of how often, with the elevation each one sits at, because that number is the reason a lot of these conversations start.
| From | Approx. elevation | Drive | Typical reason for the trip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reno and Sparks | 4,400 to 4,700 ft | 5 to 20 min | Everything |
| Carson City | 4,700 ft | 35 min | Iron sets and full ledgers |
| Minden and Gardnerville | 4,720 ft | 50 min | Wedges for valley farmland turf |
| Truckee | 5,820 ft | 40 min | Gapping between two elevations |
| Incline Village | 6,350 ft | 50 min | Lake column on the sheet |
| Fernley and Fallon | 4,180 ft | 40 to 60 min | Wind profiles and driver work |
Or Just Turn Up
If a bay is free we will put a club on the radar and show you what a session looks like. No appointment, no obligation, no sales pitch waiting at the end of it.
