What Everything Costs, Written Down Before You Ask

One page, no packages, no membership. A session fee buys bay time and a spec sheet. Components and bench labour are quoted separately and never bundled into a number designed to look simple.

The fitting fee comes off the labour on any build ordered through us inside sixty days. It is not a discount on components — those are sold at cost plus a flat handling charge we will show you.

Session Fees

Six Single Sessions and Two Combinations

Bay time and fee by session type
Session Bay time Fee What the hour is spent on
Driver Session 75 minutes $135 One club, three variables, and a launch window that has to survive both the valley and a sea-level trip.
Fairway Wood Session 75 minutes $135 Judged off hardpan and thin autumn turf, not off a perfect mat lie.
Hybrid Session 70 minutes $125 Where the long irons stop earning their place, and what replaces them.
Iron Set Session 105 minutes $195 A whole set measured as one spread, so the gaps hold together instead of individually.
Wedge Session 80 minutes $145 Bounce, grind and loft chosen for firm high-desert ground and the odd wet spring week.
Putter Session 70 minutes $125 Length, lie and head balance checked against the stroke you actually make under a clock.
Top of the Bag 2 hours $225 Driver, fairway woods and hybrids handled together so the long clubs stop overlapping.
Full Ledger (two visits) 2 visits, 4 hours total $395 Every club in the bag, mapped across two appointments with a week of play in between.

Every session includes the static spec audit of whatever you bring in, the three-column carry sheet, and any small bench adjustment made during the appointment itself.

Counter Work, No Session Required

Plenty of what walks through the door does not need a fitting at all. A set that was fitted properly three years ago and has been living in a car boot since usually needs a lie check and new grips, not two hours of bay time. These are the prices for that.

Workshop operations, labour only
Operation Labour Turnaround Included
Loft and lie audit, full set $45 Same visit Measured and logged, no bending included
Loft or lie bend, per club $9 Same visit Forged and cast both handled
Regrip, per club $6 plus grip Same day Any brand, any build-up you want
Shaft pull and reshaft, iron $28 plus shaft 3 to 5 days Includes ferrule and swingweight check
Shaft pull and reshaft, wood $34 plus shaft 3 to 5 days Adapter reused where it is sound
Length change with weight correction $16 per club 1 to 2 days Tip or butt, swingweight restored
Swingweight matching, per set $55 2 days Brought to a single target across the ladder
Ferrule replacement and refinish $8 per club 2 days Turned down flush on the lathe
Groove measurement and report $20 Same visit Depth and edge radius against a new reference
Putter length, lie and counterweight $38 Same visit Grip re-fitted afterwards

Turnaround assumes the component is on the shelf. Anything ordered in adds whatever the supplier takes, and we will tell you that number before you agree to it rather than afterwards.

How Component Pricing Works

Shafts, heads, grips and adapters are billed at our landed cost plus a flat handling charge of eighteen percent. That figure does not change by brand, which is the entire point — there is no component in the building that earns us more than any other, so nothing on the shelf has a reason to win an argument it should lose.

You are welcome to see the invoice line. Several customers ask every year and nobody has been refused.

What Is Not Charged For

Re-checking a build we did. Adjusting a lie we set if it drifts inside a season. Answering a question on the phone. Looking at a club on the counter and telling you it is fine. None of these has ever appeared on an invoice here and none of them is going to.

Nothing Here Changes at the Counter

If a number on this page is not the number on your invoice, the invoice is wrong and we will fix it.
